Primary Responsibilities :

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Utilities / Making & Packing)

Location: P&G Site, Usgaon, Goa

Positions Available: 3

Experience Required: 6–10 years

Preferred: Prior experience with P&G (highly desirable)

Salary: INR 80,000 per month (all-inclusive; no additional allowances for food, accommodation, etc.)

Job Summary:

We are hiring skilled Mechanical Engineers to support capital project execution at the P&G manufacturing site in Goa. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in utility systems and/or making and packing equipment, with a preference for candidates who have previously worked on P&G projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Utilities Engineering

  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of utility systems such as:
  • Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Compressors
  • Purified Water Systems (PWS), Steam Lines, Compressed Air
  • AHUs, DHUs, FDVs, and other HVAC equipment
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, layout drawings, BOQs, and isometrics
  • Validate installation quality per engineering information package
  • Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols
  • Manage construction material reconciliation and verification
  • Review documents like JMRs, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ

2. Making & Packing Equipment

  • Oversee installation and validation of making, packing, and cleaning systems
  • Ensure hygienic design compliance and GMP standards
  • Manage punch point closure and confirm readiness for commissioning
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal stakeholders (Engineering, QA, Safety)

3. General Responsibilities

  • Drive day-to-day execution aligned with project schedule (CPS)
  • Review and approve safety permits and Job Safety Analyses (JSA)
  • Support in ensuring audit-ready documentation and validation closeouts
  • Flexible to work in shifts (preferably 1st and 2nd)
