Job Title: Sr. Static Design Engineer

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in the design, analysis, and evaluation of static equipment. The role requires a deep understanding of industry standards and proven experience in delivering engineering solutions across sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, and power industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, storage tanks, and reactors.
Perform mechanical calculations and review finite element analysis (FEA) for stress, fatigue, buckling, and other integrity checks.
Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, material requisitions, design reports, and Material Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC).
Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, TEMA, PED, ISO).
Review equipment drawings, layouts, MTOs, and vendor documents; coordinate technical clarifications.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, procurement teams, and vendors.
Participate in audits (e.g., ASME Recertification for U, U2, S Stamps) and 3D model reviews.
Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses, proposing effective engineering solutions.
Support fabrication and construction teams with technical guidance during manufacturing and installation.
Liaise with sub-vendors to ensure quality deliverables as per applicable codes/specifications.
Continuously improve design processes for efficiency and quality.
Mentor and support junior engineers and draftsmen.
Bachelor degree
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10–12 years of hands-on experience in static equipment design.
Proficiency in engineering software such as PV Elite, Compress, NozzlePRO, ANSYS, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
In-depth knowledge of static equipment fabrication and inspection requirements.
Familiarity with project execution from FEED to detailed engineering and commissioning.
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in static equipment manufacturing and EPC projects.
Knowledge of 3D modeling and drafting tools such as AutoCAD and Navisworks.
