Roles and Responsibilities:
ï‚· Manage MD’s schedules, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary.
ï‚· Manage MD’s travel arrangements (including visas/accommodation)
ï‚· Process MD’s correspondence, ensuring that incoming correspondence is dealt with by the
MD on behalf of the MD, or other staff as appropriate.
ï‚· Maintain MD’s office systems, including data management and filing.
ï‚· Maintain records of MD’s contacts.
ï‚· Screen calls, enquiries and requests, and deal with them when appropriate.
ï‚· Assist MD in researching and following up with action on matters which fall within the
MD’s responsibility – chasing responses, triggering follow-up action.
ï‚· Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for the MD.
ï‚· Organise meetings and ensure that MD is well prepared for those meetings, preparing
agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers.
ï‚· Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority.
ï‚· Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the MD

Desired Candidature:
ï‚· Educated to degree level or equivalent.
ï‚· Experience of working in a Higher Education Environment.
ï‚· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interaction with
a wide range of contacts, both internal and external.
ï‚· Ability to organise and plan own work.
ï‚· Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
ï‚· A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise.
ï‚· Ability to work on own initiative.
ï‚· Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
ï‚· Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages,
preferably Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
