Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls for Nexus and Assist Head Office, resolving queries at first contact where possible or escalating as necessary.

  • Follow a structured 9-touch process to ensure timely and consistent communication with all applicants.

  • Conduct screening interviews using predefined questions to assess candidate suitability.

  • Make informed decisions on candidate progression or rejection based on collected data.

  • Maintain accurate and concise records in all systems after each interaction.

  • Generate and share reports with Account Managers.

  • Confirm attendance for assessment sessions and backfill slots as required.

  • Follow up with ‘No Shows’ to understand reasons for non-attendance and update records accordingly.

  • Contact former employees to understand reasons for leaving and highlight potential concerns to management.

  • Conduct welfare calls to thank workers, gather feedback on On-Site teams and the Client.

  • Carry out video interviews as needed.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Friendly, upbeat voice with engaging inflection.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly and foster trust.

  • Maintain strong relationships with Account Managers.

  • Follow structured questions naturally, without sounding scripted.

  • Ask open-ended questions when clarification is needed.

  • Confident in handling difficult conversations with candidates.

  • Team player who can also work independently.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.

  • Strong email organization and housekeeping skills.

  • Ability to efficiently switch between multiple systems while engaging with candidates.

  • Capable of writing concise and informative notes on candidate profiles.

  • Experience in generating and sharing reports from Idibu and Acuity.

Compliance Skills:

  • Good understanding of employment compliance and Right to Work (RTW) regulations in the UK.

  • Familiarity with the Rehabilitation Act and ability to discuss it openly with candidates.

  • Awareness of and vigilance against Modern Day Slavery.
