Financial Officer – Job Description

About Us

Company is embarking on an innovative pilot project aimed at providing working capital assistance to

media and influencer marketing companies. We are seeking a versatile and experienced

professional to join our team and play a critical role in assessing credit opportunities,

processing loans, ensuring compliance, and managing client interactions. This position offers a

unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and evolving project.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

Credit Assessment:

 Evaluate financial statements and books of media and influencer marketing companies.

 Determine the creditworthiness and financial stability of potential clients.

 Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessment.

Loan Processing:

 Process loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and

accurate.

 Manage loan documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

 Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and clarify loan terms.

Compliance and Documentation:

 Ensure all loan processing activities comply with regulatory standards and internal

policies.

 Maintain detailed and accurate records of all loan transactions and client interactions.

 Prepare and review loan agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.

Client Interaction:

 Communicate effectively with clients, explaining loan terms and addressing any queries.

 Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanour.

 Manage client relationships, ensuring a positive experience throughout the loan

process.

Recovery and NPA Management:

 Monitor loan repayments and identify potential non-performing assets (NPAs).

 Develop and implement strategies for recovery of overdue payments.

 Engage with clients to negotiate repayment plans and resolve default issues.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.

Experience:

 Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an NBFC or financial institution.

 Proven experience in credit assessment, loan processing, and compliance.

 Experience in recovery and managing NPAs is highly desirable.

Skills:

 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

 Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications.

 Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
