Key Responsibilities

Prepare authentic Gujarati and Rajasthani vegetarian dishes, including daily meals, festive delicacies, farsan, sweets, and thalis.

Maintain high standards of taste, hygiene, and food presentation.

Innovate within traditional cuisine while preserving authenticity.

Plan and design balanced menus tailored to family preferences, health needs, and special occasions.

Oversee kitchen operations including ingredient sourcing, inventory management, and cost control.

Train and supervise helpers or support staff to ensure consistency in cooking and service.

Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.

Interact politely and professionally with family members and guests.

Key Skills & Competencies

Mastery in vegetarian Gujarati & Rajasthani cuisine (everyday meals to festive thalis).

Strong expertise in farsan, mithai (sweets), and regional specialties.

Excellent menu planning and food presentation skills.

High standards of hygiene and kitchen management.

Ability to adapt dishes as per preferences and feedback.

Qualifications & Requirements

15+ years of experience as a Senior Chef/Maharaj in Gujarati & Rajasthani vegetarian cuisine.

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred (not mandatory with strong experience).

Additional culinary certifications/courses in cooking and serving skills will be an added advantage.

Languages: Hindi (essential).
